The Mission of TMC Residential Life
We in the Thurgood Marshall College Office of Residential Life are a student services staff responsible for the governance and well being of TMC residential students. We actively support the University's Principles of Community and the Thurgood Marshall College goals, philosophy and academic mission. We encourage responsible citizenship, including community membership, the development of leadership skills and personal life skills. We promote policies and programs that place a high value on individual difference and dignity. We advocate pride and appreciation for the inherent richness of diversity within our community. We are committed to providing a solid foundation for students within the University and a link to the community at large. We respect the rights of students and encourage them to exercise their creativity in an intellectually challenging environment.
