Dine-with-a-Prof Program
Attention Undergraduates You are invited to participate in a program, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Thurgood Marshall College, to increase interactions between UC San Diego students and faculty outside of the classroom -- Dine-with-a Prof Program. This program will help to foster informal, out-of-classroom interactions between undergraduate students and faculty members. It also gives you the opportunity to experience a professional atmosphere of dining at the UC San Diego Faculty Club.
Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! Only 100 meal vouchers will be sponsored, on first-come first-serve bases, one voucher per student. This program runs Monday, October 11, 2009 through Friday, June 11, 2010.
How does it work
Before obtaining your FREE meal card, please make sure you have the following information:- The full name and email address of the faculty member you will be taking to lunch.
- The week number and quarter that the lunch will be held.
- Please make sure to invite your professor to lunch PRIOR to obtaining the meal card.
Obtain a meal card for the program at the Thurgood Marshall College Dean of Student Affairs Office, northeast wing of TMC Admin Bldg.
The meal card can be redeemed only by the faculty member with the student as a guest. If another student will like to join your lunch, that student will need to pick up a meal voucher at her/his college of registration.
