Residential Orgs
There are multiple ways to get involved at Thurgood Marshall College even without leaving your building. Be a representative from your building to SCORE or TMTV. * Take a position in your building such as a Resident Advisor Assistant, Birthday Committee, Intramurals Organizer, T-Shirt designer, etc. See your Resident Advisor for details and photos for details.
Programming
Annually, TMC Residential Life hosts a variety of programs:
- Opening Dance
- Battle of the Halls
- Social Change Fair
- Spirit Night (in collaboration with Marshall Spirit Crew & Athletics
)
- Lunar New Year
- Resident Advisor Selection
- A Telethon (phone-in to a televised show to make donations to cause)
* TMTV is operated completely by students and therefore depends upon fundraising efforts. You may purchase student linens from Res Hall Linens to support the station. Parents and such may purchase ads for $3 per week

If you haven't purchased an ad but wish to simply email your message to tmtv@ucsd.edu and mail your payment to Residential Life TMTV Advisor, 9500 Gilman Dr. #0501, La Jolla, CA 92093-0501. We can tell your student Happy Birthday, come home soon, or more. If you are a local business or department, we can advertise for you this way too.
