New Student Orientation
– Reading for Parents
The transition to college can be simultaneously exciting and distressing as both parents and students deal with normal developmental changes, independence/dependence issues, and either being or seeing the “just kids” of yesterday develop into the young adults of today. Although mostly written toward a parent’s perspective, they are certainly appropriate for the entire family to read - in good humor and compassion.
