The Marshallpalooza Committee is a student-led endeavor to plan this cornerstone annual event. Student committee members are involved in all aspects of the carnival: deciding all games, rides, food, vendors, and entertainment; generating all publicity and marketing; and providing leadership to ensure a successful carnival experience for all.

Leadership Committee for Cultural Celebration (LC3)

Cultural Celebration, in partnership with UC San Diego's Triton Day, opens a doorway to different world cultures for current and admitted UC San Diego students, their families, and the local community. In its 41st year, Cultural Celebration is Marshall's largest community event of the year. LC3 is the student-led committee that plans and hosts this multicultural festival, including recruiting on- and off-campus entertainment, inviting small businesses to the Marshall Public Market, coordinating all event logistics and volunteers, and planning educational activities for children and the community related to the Celebration's annual theme.

Past events have included a LinkedIn workshop, campus restaurant crawl, professional headshots, and DIY cap-decorating.
