Marshall College wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving   Our Marshall Staff will be offline on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. We will return to regular office hours on November 30. We hope that you enjoy this time of thanks with your family and friends.

Partnership Schools Information Session November 23rd | 11:30 am - 12 pm (PST) November 24th | 10am - 10:30 am (PST) Register on Zoom and on Google Forms   Interested in taking part in an online educational internship? Join the Partnership Schools Program! This internship opportunity is open to all UC San Diego undergraduate students. Tutor positions at the Preuss School are still available for Winter Quarter 2021! Develop civic duty skills and gain experience working in a remote high school setting. For more information, register for one of our info sessions listed above. Marshall Transfer Peer Mentor Program   You don't have to be by yourself this year! We are happy to announce that the Transfer Peer Mentor Program (TPMP) application is now open and available to all first- and second-year transfer students. TPMP brings together second-year mentors with first-year mentees. Mentors help mentees understand the campus, learn resources, navigate their first year at a four-year institution, and make a new friend in the process. Mentees have the benefit of learning from more experienced students, and mentors can develop and refine their mentorship skills. Applications are due by Monday, November 23rd, 5:00pm! Thurgood Thursdays Live But on TUESDAY November 24th | 11:30 am (PST) Instagram Live   Thurgood Thursdays Live is continuing! Connect and meet fellow Marshall students and staff through Instagram Live. Tune into the conversation and ask them any questions that you have. This week, Leslie will be hosting the Live with our other host Shayna Frink. Watch them make Cranberry Orange Scones together on Instagram in preparation for Thanksgiving! And there will be a giveaway prize for those who watch the LIVE! Friday Night Live! December 4th & 11th 6 - 7 pm (PST) Join on Zoom   Friday Night Live returns with a new series of socials and a new series of giveaways! Each week will be hosted by a different Marshall student organization so keep an eye out for weekly updates. Each week will have a different activity led by the organization of the week and there will be plenty of giveaways for attendees. Join us for every Friday night 7pm starting 11/20! Apply to be the Co-Chair for the Leadership Committee for the 43rd Annual Cultural Celebration   Cultural Celebration is an annual tradition at Marshall College that happens on the same day as Triton Day (new freshmen admit day). HDH Fall Break Hours   All HDH Dining locations will have their standard hours on operation through Wednesday, November 25th. There will be special Holiday hours for Thursday, November 26ht through Saturday, November 28th. All HDH Dining locations will resume their standard hours on Sunday, November 29th. Triton Community Fall Harvest   November 26th | 12 - 6 pm (PST) Dining Services will be serving a Fall Harvest menu at Cafe Ventanas. Choose between Hand-Carved Roasted Turkey with Country Turkey Gravy ($11.50) or Oven Roasted Acorn Squash with Lentil Stuffing ($10.50). Both entrees come with choice of sides (mashed potatoes, candied yams, green beans, stuffing, dinner rolls) and desserts (pumpkin and apple pie)! Fall Break Travel Reminder   Students residing in campus-operated housing are welcome to stay on campus for the full duration of Fall Break and remain on campus for the rest of Fall Quarter. We strongly recommend that any student who travels away from campus for Fall Break should not return to campus until the start of Winter Quarter in January 2021. Microtomes GBM 3: Journal Club   November 25th | 7 - 8 pm (PST) We are Microtomes, an undergraduate academic journal club that introduces students to cutting edge topics in Biology through discussions of recent publications.
