Dine and Coffee with a Prof [COVID Edition]   Dine-with-a-Prof and Coffee-with-a-Prof have joined forces to offer a "COVID Edition" of these two amazing programs. This virtual program will serve as an opportunity for Undergraduate Students to safely and successfully meet with a Professor or Graduate Teaching Assistant to learn more about the field of study they are pursuing. Kicking off in Spring Quarter 2021, Undergraduate Students can register online to participate starting March 24. Searching for Marketing Intern   Marshall College is searching for a Marketing Intern! Come join our team and grow your knowledge and skills in digital and social media marketing. Some key responsibilities include curating posts for our social media platforms, analyzing our digital outreach, and hosting social media programs. We are looking for students that are comfortable with public speaking, knowledgeable about social media platforms, and skilled in written communications. Virtual Cultural Celebration 2021   April 10th | 10:30 am - 1 pm (PST) Thurgood Marshall College’s 43rd Annual Cultural Celebration is coming up! Senior Leadership and Service Awards Application   The Thurgood Marshall College Leadership and Service Awards are designed to recognize senior students whose undergraduate careers have included distinguished accomplishments in academic achievement, as well as leadership, involvement, and service to Marshall College and UC San Diego. ThurGood Reads Spring 2021 Zoom   Join us for Thurgood Reads this quarter to engage with Alicia Garza’s book The Purpose of Power: How We Come Together When We Fall Apart that was released in Fall 2020. We have 20 copies of the book to provide students to participate in this reading discussion group. This quarter is being hosted collaboratively with the Black Resource Center. Students must have their own Netflix account in order to attend the movie virtual screening. Virtual Elementary School Science Fair   May 3rd | 8:20 am - 11:30 am (PST) BSSA is hosting its first ever virtual Science Fair at La Jolla Country Day School! Here are some of the things you will be able to do by volunteering at this event: - Teach and demonstrate science to an audience of over 200 students - Show students what it’s like to be a “scientist” in college - Impact students, inspire them to learn more about science, and be a role model You will be working with a partner to demonstrate an assigned experiment to several classrooms and grade levels.   Sign Up Here
