Academic Plans

Academic Plans are designed to assist you in short and long-term planning. They provide an overview of the recommended quarter-by-quarter course schedules to facilitate your graduation from UC San Diego in four years. Three Year Finish and Transfer Two-Year Plans are also available for many majors and we encourage you to use the plans that are available as a resource to design your own unique path.

Academic plans should be used as a guide only. We highly encourage you to consult with your major department advisor to obtain in-depth advising about your major. In addition, plans do not guarantee that courses will be offered in the quarters listed.

Academic Planning Appointments

If you would like to create a personalized academic plan with a Marshall Academic Advisor, please contact Marshall Academic Advising through the Virtual Advising Center for a 30-minute appointment. Students are advised to meet with their major advisor to discuss the planning of major-related coursework prior to scheduling their appointment with a Marshall Academic Advisor.
